We still don't quite know what they are and whether we should include them on the gravity side or the matter side of the Einstein field equations. But, more interestingly, it means that, theoretically, there cannot be any larger structures that form in our universe than what already exist. So think about it, even though the universe expands, the cosmic filaments are the largest things gravity can make | |
